Site Description

The brownfield site originally occupied by the property Moorhurst which was a substantial detached house with associated outbuildings and prior to demolition was in use as a residential nursing home. The Landis rectangular in shape extending to approximately 0.88 hectares (2.2 acres) and has a direct frontage to the Main Road (the A28) with a single access in the far eastern corner.  The site is generally level and well screened by virtue of both topography and mature boundary trees.  Currently the land retains much of the original vegetation with the former ornamental garden having become overgrown.
